The Pledge: The best start in life, Early Detection,Early intervention for infants of risk of developing neurological issues At Our Lady of Peace Center, we pledge to uphold the dignity and potential of every child entrusted to our care. On this Change Day, we renew our unwavering commitment to: - Detect Early, Intervene with Purpose: We will enhance our systems for early detection and targeted intervention for infants at risk of developing neurological issues—because timely, specialized care can shape a lifetime of possibilities and improve thier developmental trajectories. - Empower Families, Build Trust: We pledge to walk alongside parents with compassion and clarity, offering guidance, resources, and hope from the very first signs of concern. - Integrate evidence based practice: We will continue to use global best practices with our mission, ensuring that every child receives care that is both evidence-based and deeply humane. - Collaborate for Change: We commit to working hand-in-hand with medical professionals, educators, and community partners to create a seamless, supportive pathway for early intervention. - Share Knowledge, Inspire Action: We will document and disseminate our learnings—through institutional storytelling—so that others may benefit from our journey. - Advocate for the Invisible: We pledge to be the voice for infants whose challenges are not yet visible, ensuring that no child is overlooked and no potential is lost. - Honor Our work, Expand Our Reach: Over the past 20 years, OLOPC has delivered more than 800,000 free-of-charge rehabilitation and special education sessions to children and families in need free of charge. We are proud in Pioneering several initiatives in Jordan, marking a first in the country by emphasizing the critical need for early detection and intervention for infants potentially facing neurological challenges. OLOPC provided numerous scholarships to public sector professionals, including neonatologists, neurologists, and physical therapists from institutions like the Royal Medical Services and public hospitals. Our goal was to enhance awareness on this critical subject. - These courses, a first not only in Jordan but also in the Middle East, were designed with the objective to lower the age at which CP can be reliably diagnosed and to advocate for evidence-based, early interventions that will have a lasting positive effect on individuals with CP. We will take about this in universities starting from JU. Today, we choose change. We choose early detection. We choose early intervention . For every child. For every family. For a future filled with possibility.
